We seek a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow who is experienced in application of models to aquatic systems and who can be part of a team involved in research into lake water quality. The position is based in the Environmental Research Institute of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Waikato. The duration is two years with opportunity for renewal based on performance. The successful applicant will be expected to manage a number of model applications to the Rotorua lakes in the Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. The research programme is multidisciplinary and includes hydrodynamic-ecological model coupling, ecosystem services assessment and modelling, and catchment modelling. Relevant experience could include data analysis techniques, aquatic field or lab studies, computer programming or remote sensing.
