Visa Information

  • Please consult with the South Korean Consulate in your country/region (e.g. for U.S. citizens please check here) whether you need a visa to visit South Korea. We strongly encourage you to *apply now* if you need to obtain a visa for South Korea.

  • Countries under visa exemption agreement with South Korea - please check the latest list from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea to see if you are eligible.

  • Please plan your air travel sooner rather than later, especially if your itinerary includes a stopover in a country where a *transit visa* is required. For example, if your flights include a tranfer in the U.S., you may need to obtain an ESTA or a transit visa (before you travel) in order to complete your journey to South Korea. Please consult with your air ticketing agency and the consulates of the countries you will transit through for the latest requirement.
