Visa & Letter of Invitation

Visa & Letter of Invitation

  • Check this website for a list of countries where foreigners are exempted from a visa requirement when entering the Schengen Area (including Poland) for periods not exceeding 90 days within a 180 day period.
  • Please consult with the Polish Consulate in your country/region (e.g. if you are based in the U.S., please check visa requirements at Travel.State.Gov or the Polish Consulate in Washington) to find out whether you need a visa to visit Poland.
  • Plan your air travel sooner rather than later, especially if your itinerary includes a stopover in a country where a transit visa is required. For example, if your flights include a transfer in the U.S., you may need to obtain an ESTA ( or a transit visa (before you travel) in order to complete your journey to Poland. Please consult with your air ticketing agency and the consulates of the countries you will transit through for the latest requirement.
