Checklist and Important Dates

Here is a list of important dates, your homework and deadlines for attending GLEON17:

By Friday 7 August 2015 @12pm (noon) US EDT | 4pm UTC

• Complete G17 Request to Participate (RTP) online

By Monday 10 August 2015 @12pm (noon) US EDT | 4pm UTC

• Submit G17 Student Travel Award Application (STA) online if applicable

By 29 August ~15 September 2015

• Receive email notification of G17 RTP  and STA - funding support decisions

• Complete G17 hotel reservation

By 29 September 2015 @12pm (noon) US EDT | 4pm UTC

• Complete G17 Registration 
• New sites/Site News and Posters abstracts submission due with the G17 Registration form.
• Complete G17 Hotel reservation

Throughout September and October 2015

• G17 travel awards issued via University of Wisconsin Madison: recipients are expected to complete documentation and receive the fund (individual fixed amount) via *checks or *international bank transfer. There will be no reimbursement available if your total G17 expenses exceed your award value. 
   
• G17 travel awards processed via University of California at Merced: exact payment terms and reimubrsement arrangement will be communicated to recipients as details become available.

  *Not applicable to current and recent University of Wisconsin employees. You will be directed to purchase airfare only through Concur, work with CFL financial specialist on registration fee and use e-reimbursement for applicable expenses.
