zUSA (drivers of zooplankton community composition across the continental U.S.)

The overall broad question of interest is: What are the most important drivers of zooplankton abundance and community composition across the U.S. using data from the U.S. EPA's 2007 National Lakes Assessment, and how might these main drivers change across different ecoreigons of the U.S? Also, how might these drivers change between reservoirs and natural lakes, and do natural lakes explain more of a zooplankton response variation than in reservoirs? We also have questions related to specific zooplankton genera and in categorizing zooplankton into functional groups.
