Training Opportunities

GLEON offers a number of training opportunities for students and scientists at any career stage:
  • Workshops organized by the GLEON Student Association (GSA) and others are available during the GLEON All Hands' meetings. Browse the meetings webpage to see topics and details for past and upcoming meetings.
  • In 2021, the GSA Workshop Subcommittee established the Limnoseries: Workshops & Lectures to run every other month in an online format. We will be setting up a new page for this series, but for now, you can find information posted on the Workshops page.
  • The GLEON Fellowship Program trains cohorts of graduate students to exploit the rich information content of large and diverse data sets, operate effectively in diverse international teams, and communicate outcomes to a broad range of audiences. The most recent cohort is participating in the Lake Expedition 2020.
