Presented by Shajar Regev
An important part of our work is handling data. Gathering data from various sources, consolidating, preparing it for analysis and using it as an input for models. This part of the work is usually tedious. This workshop deals with the tedious work of data quality control (QC). It is a crucial stage since you want to avoid GIGO (garbage in garbage out) situations. And you also want to avoid re-working this tedious part of your research. In this virtual workshop we will go through a few aspects of data quality control with examples using R. Main topics during the workshop are – Invest time in making tools, Text and categorical data, Date – time data, Continues data and Correcting biased data.
