Nitrogen pollution and GHG emissions, especially in aquatic environments, are critical global concerns. My research investigates nitrate reduction pathways, specifically denitrification. Exploring how cyanobacterial harmful algal blooms (CyanoHABs) and nutrients affect N transformations in freshwater lakes by using stable isotope and metatranscriptomics to uncover their influence on N removal.
