We’re excited to continue our free, open-to-all Data Analysis Training series using R, no prerequisites required. Our goal is to make this essential research skill accessible to the whole community.
The series consists of 6 workshops, running from August 5th to November 6th (every 2–3 weeks), progressing from beginner fundamentals to more advanced techniques. The full schedule is available in the attached flyer.

This workshop’s lessons will be recorded prior to the workshop to allow the participants to learn autonomously and cover the topic in depth. The in-person workshop will be mainly dedicated to discuss the topic, practice what has been learnt and answer questions.
Topics covered:
Basic concepts and principles
Standard error and the Central Limit Theorem
Experiments, pseudo-experiments, and quasi-experiments
Replication and pseudoreplication
Statistical tests, p-values, and effect size
Parametric and non-parametric statistics
Bayesian and frequentist statistics
t-test, ANOVA, and linear regression
Sample-size calculation and statistical power analysis
