Multivariate methods are essential for testing complex hypotheses that involve the joint analysis of many variables, where predictor and response variables are not clearly separated. The workshop covers their mathematical foundations and how to select and apply the appropriate technique in each case.
Methods covered: PCA, CA, PCoA, CCA, RDA, variance partitioning, NMDS, cluster analysis, and discriminant analysis.
