The inaugural United Nations World Lake Day is being held on 27th August 2025. Please consider publicizing this event and doing something special to celebrate how lakes are an integral part of our GLEON community and have a critical role for people and biota across the globe.
Also, the Meanjin Brisbane Declaration on World Lake Sustainability, arising from the 20th World Lake Conference, is now available on Zenodo. There is MS Forms access for anyone who wishes to add their name to the Declaration.
