by Kirsty Forbes, Ahmed Elhabashy, Shaelyn Koleber Prada, Georgia Larzelere, Keerthana Suresh, and Anna Schmidt

In 2025, the Global Lake Ecological Observatory Network (GLEON) celebrated its 20th anniversary. We thank GLEON members (aka GLEONites) who shared statements and photos for the blog post, and everyone who has contributed in different ways to run GLEON for the last 20 years.
